What Is the Cost of a Website?

How Does Billing Work?

At the time of booking your website we call you to set up billing and your credit card will be charged monthly.

 

Can I Cancel Anytime?

Yes, just pop us an email to us anytime. Your monthly fee is paid a month in advance, so your Sloth Digital website will run until the end of that prepaid month, and after that we will not bill you.

 

How Can I Pay?

Credit Card for monthly fees. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We only offer direct bank transfer (as well as credit card payment) for annual subscriptions.

 

What Is the Annual Subscription?

If you want to prepay a year in advance, we offer 2 months free (you only pay for 10months). Annual subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, which means we will not bill you for the next year, but no refunds will be made on the prepaid amount.

 

What If I Have an Existing Website?

Let us know what you want changed and updated. We can take some elements such as logos if you wish to continue with them.

 

Do I Need a Domain Name?

We can register you a domain name if you do not have one - it is an additional fee starting from $15 depending on what domain type you wish to use. Generally we recommend your country domain i.e. .com.au for local businesses, however if you need .com or exotic ones like .xyz - we can help with those too.

 

What If I Already Have a Domain Name?

That is great - we will help you direct it to your new website, at the right time.

 

If I Cancel Do I Keep the Website?

If we use any existing domain name, design elements, images or text you supply then they are yours to keep at all times. If you cancel within 12 months of starting (made less than 12 monthly payments) then we keep the rights to any website elements that we designed and were not originally supplied by you. However after 12 months (after 12 monthly payments), then any design elements we made for you, you keep. Please note, any 3rd party services (i.e. content management systems, design platforms, hosting tools, chat bots and the like), that we did not create or do not own - the rights to these things remain with their owners, not us, or you. So, we cannot transfer the whole website to you. If you cancel with Sloth Digital, it is likely you will need to get a new website designed, coded and hosted elsewhere.

 

What If I Just Want a Website for 8 Months for a Short Event?

All good! Just advise us the month before you wish to stop using the site and we will discontinue your billing.

 

What If I Don’t like the Website You Design for Me?

Let us know your feedback, and we will do our best to make changes and create a website that you are proud of and works for your business. If at the end of the day, you are still not happy with our efforts, then simply cancel within 21 days of when we started and we will refund your first payment.

 

How Long Does It Take to Build A Sloth Website?

We strive for 5 business days. If you have many changes to our design, then it could take longer.

 

Can Sloth Digital Build Anything I Want?

Not exactly. We are great, but we do have some limits. If we think what you need is beyond what we offer we will advise you and reserve the right to cancel or not proceed any further with the booking.
